Funeral Services

FJIA has contracted with Duggan’s Funeral Services to provide the following services:

Arrange for removal of the deceased from location (hospital or home)
Transport the deceased to the FJIA for Ghusl services to be held at FJIA
Obtain required legal documents to allow for the burial of the deceased at cemetary of choice
Transport the deceased to the final resting place
Provide death certificate
For unnatural death, work with the local coroner’s office

Funeral Process

FJIA has it’s own designated Ghusl hall where all Ghusl services will be performed.

Ghusl hall is located in the corner of FJIA parking lot which is permitted and approved by San Mateo County.

Janaza prayers are held in the main FJIA hall.

Janaza prayers are held during Dhuhr prayers and marhoom is then transported to designated cemetary for burial.
